Maca is a tuber of the Andean zone having a high food value and medical.
It was used by the pre-Colombians and Incas populations

    

Properties and use 

The Maca tuber contains amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins B1, B2, B12, C and E as well as minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium and iron.
Maca is reconstituting, strengthening and energetic. It is used to increase sexual vitality, fertility and for menopause. It improves aspects of the skin, emotional balance and resistance stress. It corrects certain forms of anemia and reinforces the immune system.
